I love the new work by Serge Marshennikov!
Serge decided to become a professional painter very recently and has met much success. His work is in much demand and his prices are constantly rising. Badass!

Asar (Form Of Flattery) stopped by the studio for a few hours last week to start work on his new projects. We worked on a currently untitled image that’s based on the ‘Masked Woman’ design I created in 2009.

Cooked all weekend! We had a rad brinner (breakfast for dinner) party Friday after a extremely long day. On Saturday I made an early dinner, Creamy Mushroom Sauce with vegetables. Delicious!

My girls back! Sweden’s own Sophia Somajo has returned to the underground lime light with her new single ‘Wristcutters Inc.’ Her debut album “The Laptop Diaries” was recorded by her using only a laptop computer (it’s all she had).
She’s now under Universal Publishing SWE and will release her second album shortly. ‘Wristcutters, Inc.’ is a song about suicide and self-mutilation with an upbeat punch and some celebrated production. Badass.
It really shouldn’t be a surprise that the track is phenomenal Somajo has writing credits on Robyn’s ‘Body Talk’ album just to start. Sophia, lets work!

Martin Wittfooth leaked some of his new work on Facebook this week. The image to the left is a piece for the “In the Nursery” show opening this weekend at Corey Helford Gallery, Los Angeles (more exhibition info available at www.coreyhelfordgallery.com). Vernus is ” 36” x 24” oil on panel, if you love it and want it, you’ll have to track down it’s owner because like all of MW’s work, it’s SOLD!
Welcome to my new blog page! Be sure to share the links with your friends and family! Enjoy.

Jon Todd, Jean Labourdette (Turf One) checked out the Tim Burton’s exhibition of drawings, sculptures, maquettes, videos and sculptural commissions at Toronto’s TIFF Bell Lightbox. This exhibition was organized by The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York.
More than 700 items form the core of the show, which traces Burton’s development as a creative force from his earliest drawings and paintings to the sophisticated elements he created for some of the world’s most treasured films. The exhibition also explores the development of Burton’s visual imagination from his earliest childhood efforts through his mature work. (More info)
